Generally, an oyster in poor condition will be open, dry, stuck to its shell, and its smell will be intense and unpleasant.
Oysters are low in fat and provide the body with minerals such as iodine, calcium, phosphorus, zinc, iron, magnesium and omega-3 fatty acids that help regulate cholesterol levels.
We use boxes that maintain thermal insulation; preventing the cold from being diluted. Depending on the distance of delivery (our oysters come from the centre of Marbella), the oysters will either be iced inside the box or with frozen slow loss devices. The product is sent by cold transport depending on the delivery distance.
Once the order is received, the oysters should be stored in the refrigerator, between +4ºC and +8ºC, depositing them on pile ice to keep them hydrated and placed with the concave shell downwards to encourage them to retain their own internal water.
Midday Oysters & Champagne is served from 10am to 1.30pm every day, Tuesday to Friday. There is no delivery on Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, or holidays or after holidays, either from Marbella or from the destination.
In order to guarantee the delivery of the oysters in perfect condition, you must ensure that there is someone at the delivery address you indicate during the delivery schedule (10.00 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.). However, we will inform you in advance so that the delivery can be arranged.
We recommend that the order arrives at least twenty-four hours before the product is to be served because this will ensure that you have it and that you can serve it in ideal conditions.
If the cold chain is broken because there is no one at the delivery address during working hours (10.00 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.), we will not assume any responsibility and will therefore not be responsible for the returned shipment.
The order must be placed between 10.00 and 13.30 from Monday to Saturday and at least 48 hours before the delivery time.
If you have any questions or problems related to your order, please contact us from Monday to Saturday from 10.00 to 13.30 by phone (608552391) or WhatsApp, and we will try to offer you a solution.
Once the payment of the order has been made successfully, you will receive an order confirmation email or a WhatsApp. Stay tuned and check your receipt to ensure that the email does not go into your SPAM folder.
If you do not wish to place an order on our website, please contact us by email (mediodiamarbella@gmail.com) or by phone (608552391). In these cases, the payment of the order must be made by bank transfer. We will proceed with the shipment as soon as we confirm the payment of the transfer in the bank account of the establishment.
You can cancel the delivery if the goods have not been collected from the establishment by the transport service. After such collection, no cancellation will be possible so the total amount paid will be final.
Please contact us immediately by phone or WhatsApp at 608552391. We will check the order and the delivery line and, if an error is detected that can be attributed to Mediodía Champagne & Oysters, we will try to compensate you without ever exceeding twice the price paid.
Shipping costs depend on where the order is to be delivered.
Value added tax (VAT) is included in the prices of all our products.
